Marloes, Founder & Owner of Almaresa.
Looking after homes on the Costa Blanca the way owners would.
After years of welcoming friends and family into our own home here on the Costa Blanca, Marloes kept hearing the same wish from other owners: someone who picks up, remembers what was said last visit, and walks the house with genuine care. So she founded the kind of company she wished existed and runs it herself, with her husband Fokko alongside her as part of the team, as Property Manager.
We live here too, with our children, in the same area as the homes we look after. We stay small on purpose. We keep the number of homes deliberately limited, so we can be the people who know your boiler, your neighbour, and the right plumber for a Sunday.
Our name, Almaresa, blends alma, the Spanish word for soul, with mar, the sea. Its soft ending carries a hint of esa, meaning 'that one', as in that special place by the sea. Together it captures what we want your home to remain: a place with soul, by the sea, that quietly fills you up every time you walk back in.
